March 31 – The Offshore Technology Conference Asia (OTC Asia) 2026 grandly opened at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre in Malaysia. Under the core theme of "Energy Transition and Sustainable Development," the event brought together over 30,000 professional visitors from more than 80 countries, gathering to explore new pathways for industry development.

The shallow-water subsea Christmas tree on display is an indispensable component of the subsea production system solution. It adopts an integrated design concept, featuring a high degree of modularization and a compact structure. It enables simultaneous multi-path downhole hydraulic and electrical signal transmission, meeting complex subsea fluid control requirements. As a core piece of equipment in China's first domestically developed subsea oil and gas production system, independently developed by WEFIC, it has been installed and applied in multiple units in the South China Sea, Bohai Sea, and other offshore areas, marking a significant milestone in the localization of China's offshore oil and gas development.

Represented by the new-generation integrated technology, the MMW-I multi-module wellhead system features various configurations such as single-casing double-well, single-casing triple-well, and single-casing multi-well. The integrated platform single-casing triple-well product on display adopts modular and integrated design concepts and is widely used in multi-zone oil and gas fields with abundant reserves both domestically and internationally, facilitating zonal extraction and enhancing recovery rates. Compared with conventional products, the integrated wellhead system can reduce operating costs by more than 20%. It is not only suitable for drilling, completion, and production operations but also ideally suited for land and offshore platform operations with limited space, providing an efficient and innovative solution for cost reduction in oil and gas development.
