After nearly four months of collection, screening and review, WEFIC Ocean Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. Successfully breaking through the encirclement, it won the gold award of the "Yellow River Estuary Cup" Industrial Design Competition with its shallow water underwater wellhead gas production tree.

As one of the indispensable core devices of the underwater production system, the shallow water underwater gas production tree is equivalent to the intelligent "faucet" at the wellhead of an oil and gas field. It can be used to connect the oil and gas deep in the formation with the external oil and gas transportation pipelines, control the extraction speed of oil and gas, and monitor and adjust the production situation in real time.

Since 2019, in order to facilitate the advancement of new industrialization and promote the creative transformation of industrial design in enterprises, WEFIC has formed a high-quality technical team to carry out technological research and development on shallow water underwater production systems. After three years of efforts, they successfully developed a domestic underwater gas production tree that is nearly 25% lower in height and 30% lighter in weight than conventional ones. It has achieved a historic breakthrough in the development model of underwater gas production trees in shallow water areas of our country from "0 to 1", ensuring national energy security.

To further "innovate and improve quality", WEFIC has proactively explored new tracks and fully completed the technological research and development and manufacturing of equipment and core components for underwater wellheads and gas production trees, oil production trees, and water injection trees under the shallow water development model.
