Subsea Control Module (SCM)
The Subsea Control Module (SCM) is the core equipment of the subsea oil and gas production system, which is mainly used for collecting sensor information from subsea oil and gas production equipment (such as manifolds, Christmas trees, etc.) and sending it to the topside Master Control Station (MCS). Meanwhile, it receives control commands from the topside Master Control Station to control the valve actuators of subsea oil and gas production equipment, so as to realize the control and monitoring of the entire subsea oil and gas production process.
