• HPU
  • The Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU) is primarily used to deliver stable high-pressure and low-pressure fluids to subsea production facilities via umbilical. Low-pressure fluid (typically supplied at approximately 5,000 PSI) controls valves on manifolds and Christmas trees, while high-pressure fluid (typically around 10,000 PSI) operates subsurface safety valves. The HPU can be installed on FPSOs, offshore platforms, or onshore. The system includes essential components such as pressure-compensated reservoirs, electric motors, hydraulic pumps, accumulators, control valves, electronic units, filters, and control systems. Due to stringent subsea requirements, critical components in the HPU feature redundancy to ensure safety, and system components can be replaced or maintained without shutting down operations

Product Advantages/Product Highlights

  • Redundant low-pressure and high-pressure hydraulic supply; equipped with backup pumps to facilitate isolation and maintenance in case of main pump failure

  • Quick-exchange system for automatic hose management, enabling efficient replacement of different umbilicals; unique structural design compatible with umbilicals to support complex functionalities.

  • All fluid-contacting components are made of stainless steel to prevent corrosion and contamination of the hydraulic system.

  • Optional pneumatic, hydraulic, or electric motor drive systems to suit diverse operational requirements.
