  • The EPU provides the control, detection, electrical isolation, and stable power for the SCM to ensure that the subsea production can operate stably and reliably. EPU is generally composed of ventilation unit, input monitoring and power isolation unit, controller unit, power unit and other parts.

  • Provides overvoltage protection, overcurrent trip protection, and overtemperature trip protection for the controller.

  • Provides online monitoring and alarming for input/output voltage and current, as well as insulation monitoring with alarming and trip protection.

  • Accepts emergency shutdown trip protection commands from the MCS.

  • Adjusts the output voltage according to the SCM's operational status and required load.
